what-we-do

We plan and co-ordinate real world and online fan events, meet-and-greets and signings to create content, and to excite and mobilise super fans.

Here’s footage we filmed and edited from the Mohombi event we planned:

FAN EVENTS
We’ve also run fan events and tours for Parade, Oh My!, Six D and Six D again.

SIGNINGS
You can see the pictures we took, tagged and uploaded to Facebook within an hour of the Six D and Parade signings.

1-newUse fan events for 4 main reasons: To create content for online that shows the act as busy and popular. To collect data from people applying to attend. To turn fans into super-fans. To have as much impact as possible, aim to get fan event footage online during or as soon after the event as possible.

2Consider inviting press: The fan reaction will act as social proof of the quality and success of the act. They’ll see the act in their comfort zone – engaging with people who love them.

3Plan and structure the event: but be prepared for things to change depending on fan reactions and turn out as well as technical set up. Aim for an introduction, acoustic performance, QnA, and photo opportunity.

4Fans are most excited by: one to one interaction with the act, so ensure a meet and greet is included. Take photos with each attendee and the act and post to Facebook soon after. It is also a good time to announce big news and encourage people to share it.

5-yellowFan events require: significant resource, especially in confirming attendees. Be prepared for last minute drop outs especially from younger fans. Plan for this and find a venue of a suitable size.
